The breakfast options were delicious and generous.
During my stay, the noise from the nearby bar was quite disruptive. I found the facilities to be a bit tired and in need of a refresh. The steep stairs made navigating with luggage a real challenge, especially for those with health issues.

Super close to the ferry terminal, and very accommodating staff even lent me a charger! Loved the flexible breakfast hours too.

Overall cleanliness felt lacking—sticky doorknobs, stained carpets, and even bird droppings outside the window were disappointing. The room felt cramped, with the bed pushed into a corner, creating disturbance for the person at the corner. Steep stairs posed a challenge for lugging suitcases, and lack of evening meals from the pub made the dining experience less than ideal, forcing us to eat our takeaway in the dining room. the absence of a comfortable and spacious shower design hindered usability.

The location is fantastic, just a short stroll to the ferry terminal. Enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with a variety of options, especially the homemade Belgian waffles, which were a treat. The staff made an effort to engage with me and added a personal touch to my stay. the room decor felt a bit dated, and the noise from a nearby bar disrupted my sleep. The cleanliness could also improve, as I noticed some sticky doorknobs and dusty corners.

great location but slightly noisy
The location was excellent. we could see the ferry terminal from our window, making it very convenient. The bed was huge and very comfortable, ensuring a restful night. The staff were friendly and helpful, going out of their way to assist us during our stay. The breakfast was tasty, with a lovely personal touch from the staff when they engaged us in conversation.
Although the nearby bar was lively, it created some noise that could be heard in our room.

Convenient and Clean Stay Near the Ferry
I had a pleasant experience during my recent stay, especially appreciating the delightful breakfast options that neatly included cooked items and pastries. The room was clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds making it easy to unwind after a long day. It's located so close to both the ferry terminal and train station, making travel incredibly convenient. I'd suggest adding a small shelf in the room for personal items, as that would enhance the organization.

The location is perfect for catching the ferry, just a short walk away. The flexible breakfast hours were a pleasant surprise, allowing a calm start to the day, with delicious, freshly cooked options like homemade Belgian waffles. the decor is quite dated and the hotel's overall condition feels a bit shabby, detracting from the experience. While the staff was friendly and accommodating, the lively local bar noise could be a nuisance if you're looking for a quiet stay.
